About The Forum

The Russian Design Industry Forum is the only nationwide platform that promotes domestic design and seeks to find answers to questions on the national and global agenda.

MISSION

To bring together representatives of the Russian design industry to hold an equitable discussion about joint business strategies and to prepare a roadmap for the development of the Russian design industry.

THE FORUM WILL ADDRESS KEY ISSUES RELATED TO THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AGENDA.

MAIN THEMES OF THE FORUM

Innovative solutions: design that packages the experience gained by Russian companies and research institutes
New industrial policy: localizing production, not only conceptualizing, but also manufacturing in the country with a high level of quality
Export: products, goods, and services that shape new trends and visionary views of the global market; something the country can be proud of
Russian School of Design: national design code, new demands for education, dialogue with business, and establishment of university-based industry design centres
New country: design policy as a strategy for the development of the state and an element of the new world

As a cognitive science that focuses on human beings, design affects all processes, from the creation of a single product to the shaping of behavioural models and new markets.
